Mr. Liebenberg is a veteran nuclear technology and laser systems expert with decades of technology management experience across multiple laser enrichment programs. His work has focused extensively on advanced laser-based uranium enrichment systems and the development of high-precision laser technologies for nuclear fuel production. With a strong background in laser physics, isotope separation, and technology commercialization, Mr. Liebenberg has played a key role in advancing next-generation enrichment solutions aimed at strengthening the nuclear fuel supply chain.

Mr. Liebenberg revived the CRISLA laser enrichment technology and co-founded both CRISLA, Inc. and LIS Technologies, Inc. He now leads the technical development and strategic roadmap for LIS Technologies’ patented CRISLA laser enrichment platform. Under his technical leadership, the company is advancing a U.S.-origin laser enrichment technology designed to support the domestic production of nuclear fuel for both conventional light-water reactors and next-generation advanced nuclear reactors.

Mr. Liebenberg holds a Master of Science degree in Physics, magna cum laude, and is the author of more than 10 patents related to laser and enrichment technologies. His decades of experience in laser enrichment research, development, and program management continue to guide LIS Technologies as it moves toward technical maturity and commercialization of the CRISLA enrichment process.
