Daniel Barbersek is the Director of Business Development – Power Generation for Waukesha
Pearce Industries. Barbersek develops all aspects of power generation, from emergency stand-
by to continuous power applications. Prior to becoming the Director of Business Development
– Power Generation Barbersek was the Sr. Director of Power Generation in which he managed
all aspects of their power generation business from parts to sales and service. Before coming to
WPI, Barbersek was Generac’s Director of Energy Management Solutions with responsibilities
of non-emergency generator applications that had a strong focus on energy performance for
North America. At Generac Barbersek was also the Director of Power Solutions and the
Director of Industrial Sales. Barbersek started his career at Generac as a Power Solutions
Manger, in this role Barbersek supported channel distributors with engineering support. This
role had a strong focus on the healthcare market segment for Generac. Barbersek brings over
40 years of energy-industry experience encompassing distributed generation projects utilizing
digital paralleling switchgear as well as traditional paralleling concepts. Barbersek has worked
with power generation manufacturers as well as product representatives and the US Navy. As
well as power generation experience Barbersek is very experienced in both rotary and static
UPS technologies and has a great focus on all aspects of critical power applications. Barbersek
currently services on the Executive Board of Directors for EGSA.
