Distinguished Speakers at Washington Energy Summit

Arash Ghodsian is Vice President of FERC, Transmission & Policy at Invenergy LLC, a role he has held since July 2022. He leads Invenergy’s engagement on market policy, generator interconnection, and transmission planning issues critical to advancing the energy transition.
He joined EDF Renewables in 2020 as Senior Director of Transmission & Policy, focusing on strategies to integrate renewable resources into the grid. From 2014 to 2020, Arash held a leadership role at the Midcontinent Independent System Operator (MISO), managing the Economic Planning and Generation Interconnection group across the MISO footprint. Arash began his career in 2006 at American Transmission Company in Wisconsin, gaining valuable experience in grid operations and transmission planning. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin–Platteville.
