“Relentlessly Driving Forward Onsite Power Awareness”
Diesel Fuels Specialist and Onsite Power Advocate, Michelle Hilger is the founder and driving force behind Mongoose Power Solutions LLC, a certified Woman-Owned Business Enterprise (WBE) she established in 2019 to challenge the status quo in the onsite power industry. A nationally recognized regulatory strategist, bold advocate, and trusted partner, Michelle brings a mission-first mindset to every conversation—whether she’s shaping codes and standards, advising hospital facility leaders, or advocating for fair and forward-looking energy regulations. She works at the intersection of customer empowerment, regulatory strategy, and technical excellence —connecting policy, practice, and people to drive meaningful progress across the industry.
Under her leadership, Mongoose Power Solutions has become a fierce voice for the organizations that can’t afford to lose power—ever. From healthcare facilities (hospitals, emergency care centers and long-term care facilities) and data centers to emergency response hubs and beyond, Michelle ensures that the people responsible for powering life safety and mission-critical infrastructure are supported, educated, and heard.
Michelle’s expertise in technical compliance, regulatory navigation, and diesel fuel quality allows her to guide customers through an increasingly complex energy landscape. She is committed to connecting end users with service providers, manufacturers, and regulatory agencies to drive collaboration and problem-solving. With a relentless commitment to innovation, resilience, and industry respect, she leads with purpose and impact.
Michelle leads with integrity, creativity, and conviction. Her purpose is clear: to elevate onsite power from afterthought to essential infrastructure. Her work continues to redefine what’s possible in this industry, one regulation, one partnership, and one empowered provider at a time.
